BOX CRICKET TOURNAMENT FOR MEMBERS & Students

Venue :- Central Mall, Karve Road, Pune

 GENERAL RULES:

• For CA Members & Students.
• Each team shall consist of 10 players (7 on ground + 3 substitutes).
• Playing team shall comprise of minimum 2 CA's and maximum 4 CA's and remaining players will be students.
• Substitution for CA had to be another CA Player only. Whereas Student Player can be substituted by CA. Substitute Player cannot bat, bowl and/or keep wickets.
• Runner won’t be allowed under any circumstances.
• Maximum 16 teams on first cum first serve basis.
• Participants willing to play shall register through their firm under whom they are registered.
• Maximum 5 firms can come together & register themselves as a team.
• The game will commence from 8:00 am onwards on Saturday, 30^th October, 2021 & Final on Sunday, 31^st October, 2021. So, each team is requested to report by 7:30 am.
• Each team will get a chance to play at least 3 matches.
• League matches & Quarter Final shall be of 7 overs each; while Semi-Final & Final would be of 9 overs each.
• In case of a Tie in a match, winner will be decided on the basis Super Over. If there is tie in super over, another super over to be played till the time there is result comes for the match.
• On field Umpire decision would be final.
• One player of every team will have to sit with the scorer to avoid any disputes.
• Cricket Ball (Synthetic/Soft Tennis Ball) & Bat (recommend to bring their own) would be provided.
• Sports shoes are compulsory, entry on ground would not be permitted without it.
• Dress Code: T-Shirt (Full/Half sleeves) and Track Pant.
• Organizers reserve the right to postpone/cancel the tournament in case of any adverse circumstances including bad weather, restrictions from any govt. authority, etc.
• Registration Fee: Each team - Rs. 6,000/- plus GST 18%.
• Team sponsorship of Rs.10,000/- advertisement of the sponsorship will done by branch. Team should introduce their own sponsor.
• Snacks would be provided once to all the team players. Water would be provided.
• Visitors coupon (limited) would be provided to all the teams prior to the event day.
• No one without the coupon shall be allowed to enter the premises. (Strictly adhering to the current situation).
• More detailed rules would be communicated to all the teams a week prior to the event.
• Registration through online or physically at Pune Branch of WIRC of ICAI, ICAI Bhawan, Bibwewadi.
